Have you ever described a city or a landmark as having personality or character? You probably meant it figuratively if you did, but this calendar interprets that idea a little more literally. It depicts twelve of San Francisco’s most beloved landmarks…as if they were humans.
Consider this a send up of the traditional glamor-shots-of-landmarks calendar. They’re there, in their usual setting, but instead of being structures, they’re people, with their features, clothes, and coloration based on the architectural designs and colors of the actual landmarks. Even if you do think of the likes of the Golden Gate Bridge, Sutro Tower, or the cable cars as having personalities, you probably haven’t thought of them quite like this!
Each spread features a drawing of one personified landmark, a photo of the real structural deal, and important dates in San Francisco history listed alongside standard holidays.
This calendar is great for any resident or lover of San Francisco who might enjoy seeing their City in a new light, for anyone drawn to landmarks or architectural humor, and, of course for anyone inclined to see the characters in things.
This is a 12-month 2012 wall calendar, 8.5×11 inches folded, 11×17 open. The interior is glossy paper, and the cover is glossy cardstock. The print is in full color.
Calendars are only $5 plus shipping!
We may be well into 2012 at this point, but this calendar still consists of twelve full-color illustrations, only four of which have been posted on the internet. You know the pictures are the real reason you buy calendars anyway, right?
Orders of 1 to 3 calendars will ship regular first class mail. Orders of 4 calendars up through however many fit in a flat rate envelope will ship priority.
If you would prefer to pay by cash or check, or if you would like express shipping, send an email to orders at seismogenic dot net to negotiate.

Sorry I wasn’t able to hook up with the group this past weekend… from your twitter it sounds like you had a blast.
I’m looking for a BUY IT RIGHT FREAKING NOW button for the calendar… Should I use the orders email above?
Thanks!
Sorry you missed the meetup! It was a lot of fun! I’m hoping we can pull something like that together again when I’m next in town in a few weeks.
I hope to get the BUY NOW ZOMG! button up tonight! Still trying to decide whether to set up fancy shopping cart software, or the good old PayPal route. I should probably do the latter while debating the former!
At any rate, emailing the listed address is a good thing to do! I will email back as soon as I get something set up.
Thanks for the reply! I’ll be patient.
Psst! There’s a new button on the page that may interest you!
